Day 20- Faun

The Roman equivalent to the Satyr of Greek mythology. Both are depicted as composite creatures with the top half of a human and the lower half of a goat, as well as a pair of goat horns sticking out from the head (the Greek satyr was also known to have the tail of a horse in some adaptations.

The Faun are descendants of the forest god Faunus and are very in tune with nature. Given the situation, faun have been known to either be helpful or harmful to humans wandering into forests, either getting them lost or guiding then to safety.

It only just occurred to me how close I was getting to finishing this.
